- Italy Made Me Award Winner (2018) – Physics and Engineering field – prize in recognition of innovative research conducted by Italian researchers, who received part of their education in Italy and conducted research in a UK university
- COLLAB Competition Winner (2018) —- Cembalo Scrivano (by Giacomo Lepri and Fabio Morreale) received the first price award for the Best Interactive Installation
- Best paper award (2018) – “Democratising DMIs: the relationship of expertise and control intimacy” by R. Jack, J. Harrison, F. Morreale and A. McPherson at NIME 2018 (only 1 paper received this award)
