New job at Sony AI
I am leaving my faculty position at the University of Auckland to join SonyAI as a Senior Research Scientist. Early next year, I’ll relocate to Barcelona to join Yuki Mitsufuji and his Music Foundation Model Team as an expert in the Ethics of AI in music applications. I am thrilled about the incredible opportunity to work with leading AI researchers and live in one of the world’s most vibrant cities! I will certainly miss Aotearoa and the many wonderful colleagues I’ve worked with over the years. Looking forward to this new chapter and the opportunity to advance ethical AI in the music industry.
